On February 8, Transportation Committee chairs Senator Marko Liias and Representative Jake Fey introduced Move Ahead WA, a new transformational 16-year transportation package. We strongly support the package, which includes historic levels of investment in transit service as well as investments in infrastructure to make biking, rolling, and walking safer and more accessible, among many other things.
Introduction is just the first step for this important legislation. In the next several weeks the bill will proceed through several steps and committees and we want to make sure it has support at every step of the way.
