Volunteer for the NO on 2117 Campaign

The Transportation Choices Coalition was proud to help pass Move Ahead Washington, a transformative transportation package that shifted spending toward transit, walking, and biking. That progress is now threatened by an out-of-touch billionaire who’s trying to repeal the Climate Commitment Act, which funds these critical investments in transportation.

If passed, Initiative 2117 would cut one-third of our state’s already stretched transportation budget, making traffic congestion worse and commutes even longer. It threatens to drastically slash funding for transit service, ferries, road and bridge maintenance, and even the popular Youth Ride Free program, which provides fare-free transit to 1.6 million Washingtonians ages 18 and under.

The No on 2117 campaign brings together an unprecedented coalition of over 500 environmental and business leaders, Tribal nations, labor unions, and community organizations to protect our air and water, forests and farmlands, jobs, and transportation investments. Will you join them?

Volunteer to Keep Seattle Moving

For 18 years, Seattle’s transportation levies have made critical investments in safety and mobility and transformed how Seattle residents get around their neighborhoods and downtown. The current levy is about to expire, and we urgently need to renew it by passing Proposition 1.

The next Seattle Transportation Levy will invest $1.55 billion to enhance Seattle’s infrastructure, ensuring a safer, more accessible city for everyone. It will make historic investments in sidewalks and pedestrian safety, increase funding for safe walking and biking, and target improvements to make bus trips faster and more reliable. Passing Prop 1 is critical to meet the needs of a growing and changing city.

The Keep Seattle Moving campaign is working to pass Prop 1, and they need people to knock doors, make phone calls, and table at community events!
