It’s a great day for Seattle bus riders! Yesterday, Seattle voters chose to approve Transportation Proposition 1 to expand bus service in Seattle.
Thanks to your support, your countless hours making phone calls to voters, waving signs in the rain, and your overall support of the work Transportation Choices does every day, we are finally expanding bus service where we need it most.
Our broad coalition worked tirelessly to reach thousands of bus riders through phone calls, emails and direct voter education. With more than 100 volunteers, we contacted over 100,000 voters in the last six weeks.
We’ll be looking to the future, continuing to work to find a sustainable funding source to secure transit service across the state. Thanks for you continued support, and for all you do!
