Last week we kicked off #RideTransitMonth with friends and allies in Richland, Washington, and it was fantastic to be together to talk about why the future takes transit in the Tri-Cities region.
Late on Friday, we found out that the Ben Franklin Transit Board of Directors is once again going to attempt to cut funding for the agency. The same resolution presented in April is on their agenda again for this coming Thursday’s meeting.
Hundreds of people sent letters in April voicing our opposition to these proposed cuts — and we’ll do it as many times as it takes to make sure transit stays funded in Tri-Cities. Use the form below to send a letter to the BFT Board of Directors before Thursday, June 9.

The Zoom link for June 9th's meeting is at the top of the list on that page. The Board is counting on people to not pay attention in order to get these funding cuts through.
