The Sound Transit board voted to place the Sound Transit 3 plan on the ballot for November. The plan will create a 116-mile light rail system connecting communities around the Puget Sound.
Transportation Choices will lead the campaign to pass the measure – and together, we will bring the high capacity transit that our region needs connecting Seattle, Bellevue,Tacoma, Everett, Lynnwood, Everett, Redmond, Issaquah, Kirkland, Federal Way and more. As the Puget Sound region grows, people want more options to get out of traffic.
This transformative investment in light rail, bus rapid transit, commuter rail and express buses will give residents new options to connect to jobs, schools and wherever they need to go.
We will need your help to talk to thousands of voters on the urgency of expanding light rail!
This package has been a long-time coming! Transportation Choices and our partners have worked to ensure that the package is equitable, environmentally sound, and will provide a foundation for sustainable growth for our region.
Thank you for your support and for all you do for transit for all!
