In the past three years, both King County Metro and Sound Transit have substantively changed their fare enforcement policies. Transportation Choices Coalition and our partners at Transit Riders Union are grateful to see both agencies moving away from punitive measures for fare evasion and instead focusing on connecting people with information and resources. On Tuesday, May 17, join TCC and TRU for Transit Talk: New Approaches to Fare Enforcement, a webinar that will discuss the reforms at King County Metro and Sound Transit, and their expected impacts on riders.
