Multimodal Meet Up
June 17, 2020 | 2:00 – 2:45pm PDT
UPDATE 6/15/20: Police reform is at the forefront of current civic and policy discussions that support the Black Lives Matter movement. We are switching our focus for our upcoming Transit Chat to discuss how we can transform and re-envision policing and enforcement in transportation. We will explore topics such as: traffic infractions (a large portion of police work), Vision Zero, enforcement of multimodal programming (safe routes to schools), automated enforcement (block-the-box), and fare enforcement on transit.
Please join Transportation Choices Coalition for our new Transit Chat Series! We will be hosting a series of conversations with transportation experts over the next several weeks covering a variety of topics. In this chat, we will discuss how to create streets for transit, walking, biking, and rolling during COVID-19 and beyond, and how to ensure white-led active transportation groups are centering and accountable to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities while redesigning street space. Join us as TCC, Cascade Bicycle Club, and Seattle Neighborhood Greenways chat about the future of our multimodal transportation system.
Register below! You will receive a link to the event after registration.
