The West Seattle Link Extension was approved by voters through the Sound Transit 3 ballot measure. Over 60% of West Seattle residents voted in favor of expanding light rail. Those voters deserve to be heard and to have their projects delivered without further delay.

After the passage of Sound Transit 3, we have been working ensure that the projects are delivered on time and the funding is secured. We are currently advising on the West Seattle and Ballard Link extension alignments, station locations, and potential for affordable transit-oriented development. We are working with partners in Pierce and Snohomish counties to ensure upcoming projects are on track, and that the right stakeholders and communities are at the table
