Volunteer

Volunteer with Transportation Choices Coalition.

We need you!  At Transportation Choices, a small staff means volunteers like you make a difference. We have several volunteer opportunities available.

If you live, work, or spend time in Seattle we need your help!

21,686: The number of voter contacts Transportation Choices as set as our organizational goal.

106: The number of volunteers needed to reach our goal.

24: Number of buses that will be reduced or deleted entirely if we do nothing.

If you care about the world of transit and transportation there is literally nothing else more important than voter outreach right now. There are only a few weeks left before this critical election in 2014. We have six phone banks to fill. Will you be one of the 106 volunteers that will save thousands from getting their bus cut? Sign up here to select a phone bank that works for you.

Doorbelling

Phone banking not your deal? From now thorugh November 4th, there are lots of opportunities to spend time out in the rain. We have doorbelling days on weekends, leafleting and a slew of other activities. Let us know you’ll join us.

What if I don't want to do voter outreach?

If you've never done it before, don't sweat! You'll have lots of encouragement from trained professionals. We'll feed you, you'll have a good time and those two hours will fly by. You'll know you had a hand in contacting voters at a critical time in this election that will prevent bus cuts and expand service we all depend on. We need your help now more than ever!

For you planning students? Give me two hours now and after the election we'll be back to our normally scheduled program with all varieties of transit nerd-ery, GIS, maps, and urban design.
