The City of Seattle has a goal of carbon neutrality by 2050. We're talking net zero carbon emissions, a pretty bold step. And the city is developing a climate action plan to achieve this goal, prepare for the impacts of a changing climate, and make Seattle an even better place to live.
Recently, a group of 26 community, environmental, and business leaders, the Green Ribbon Commission, recommended a series of actions to include in this new plan. The Commission's recommendations include both short-term and longer-term actions that will help make Seattle more resilient, equitable, prosperous, and environmentally sustainable.
Join Tracy Morgenstern, Climate Protection Manager and Sara Wysocki, Communications Advisor at the City of Seattle to learn more about these recommendations and share your thoughts on this plan.
