You voted for it.  You sent letters, emails and showed up to testify in support of light rail to Bellevue. Now the time has come for the Bellevue City Council to make a decision.  After months of discussions and negotiations, the City Council is considering a draft memorandum of understanding with Sound Transit concerning the East Link light rail line through Bellevue.   This MOU includes details on alignment options through South Bellevue and downtown Bellevue. Once this MOU is signed, it will clear the way for light rail construction in Bellevue.   The Sound Transit Board has already authorized their staff to move forward once the council takes action, so it’s all up to the council now!

The council could sign the agreement on Nov 14.   They are holding a final public hearing concerning the draft MOU this Monday, Nov. 7.

Show up to the hearing and tell the council to sign the MOU.   They have delayed the project long enough and now is the time to get it done.

Let us know if you can make it to the hearing.  We need to show the council that there is strong support for light rail in Bellevue.  Please bring your friends and neighbors too!
