Barbara is currently an advocate working on transportation and community livability issues. She has been a TCC board member for more than five years. She also is a member of the Governor’s Connecting Washington Task Force, the Seattle Transit Master Plan Advisory Committee and the Seattle Citizens’ Transportation Advisory Committee. Most recently, Barbara Wright was the Deputy Director of the Environmental Health Division, Public Health – Seattle & King County. In her position, she co-authored the first major transportation project health impact assessment in the country.
